THCa crystals (diamonds) in the terpene-rich liquid they separated from (sauce), together in one container. The product is made either by letting an extract separate on its own in the jar, or by separating the two parts and recombining them in a chosen ratio. The diamonds supply most of the potency. The sauce supplies the terpenes, the flavor, and the extract's other cannabinoids. Because the ratio of crystals to liquid varies, potency and terpene content vary from product to product. The lab report gives the totals for the batch as a whole.

A cannabis concentrate extracted with a hydrocarbon solvent (butane or propane) from fresh, frozen material at harvest. The solvent is then purged, and the lab report tests for any residual solvents.

After decades of crossbreeding, nearly all modern commercial strains are hybrids in the genetic sense, regardless of the label they carry. The label says more about how a product is positioned than about the plant. A listed lineage (the cross) is more specific, but a strain name doesn't guarantee chemistry either.
