What these words mean
- Sauce
A runny, sticky, syrup-like, solvent-based cannabis concentrate high in terpenes, also called terp sauce. It is the liquid portion left behind when THCa crystallizes out of an extract. It holds most of the extract's terpenes, with cannabinoids still dissolved in it, and usually has small crystals suspended in it.
- Live Resin
A cannabis concentrate extracted with a hydrocarbon solvent (butane or propane) from fresh, frozen material at harvest. The solvent is then purged, and the lab report tests for any residual solvents.
- Sativa
On a menu, "Sativa" signals the effects the seller expects: energizing, uplifting, felt more in the head, suited to daytime. As with Indica, that is tradition and not a measured property.
