Hash

Hash (also known as "hashish") is a concentrate made of the plant's resin glands, called trichomes, separated from the plant and gathered or pressed together. Trichomes are tiny, mushroom-shaped glands on the flower where the plant makes and stores cannabinoids and terpenes. The separation is mechanical (dry sifting, ice water, or hand rubbing), so it uses no chemical solvent.

Full Melt Bubble Hash

The highest grade of bubble hash, often called 5- or 6-star. It is almost entirely intact trichome heads with very little plant material. When heated, full-melt bubble hash melts and bubbles into oil and vaporizes with almost no residue left behind. Lower grades ("half melt" or "cooking grade") leave more char.

Full melt can be vaporized (or "dabbed") directly, without being pressed into rosin first. It usually comes from a narrow range of filter sizes, most often about 73 to 120 microns, and depends heavily on the strain and the quality of the starting plants. Only a small share of any wash reaches this grade, which is why it costs more. "Full melt" is a quality grade, not a different process, and no regulation defines it.

Sativa

On a menu, "Sativa" signals the effects the seller expects: energizing, uplifting, felt more in the head, suited to daytime. As with Indica, that is tradition and not a measured property.
